Classic, Neutral, Beautiful
Maggie and Ryan are two of the sweetest people you will have the pleasure of meeting. They met at college and couldn’t wait for their July 2020 Bavaria Downs Edward Anne Estate Summer Wedding. The world had other plans, but these two love birds made the best of it. They eloped on a beach with their closest family and friends because they just couldn’t stand the idea of not being married. But like so many other couples, they knew they wanted their dream wedding with everyone there. They rescheduled for just under a year after their original date and held a vow renewal and reception on the beautiful Bavaria Downs grounds.
After months of quarantines and social distancing, everyone was abuzz with excitement to get together and celebrate Ryan and Maggie’s love. Their ceremony, overlooking rolling hills and a stunning tree line, was deeply steeped in their faith. Both parents walked Maggie down the aisle to an emotional Ryan. I don’t think I can overstate the tangible joy in the air. As the two braided a symbolic cord of three strands and parents prayed over the couple, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.
Then the party started! Champagne flowed and the cocktail space filled with the delightful sound of conversation. Everyone poured into the beautiful reception ballroom for dinner. Maggie’s parents prayed a beautiful blessing over the couple and their meal.
Golden hour was spectacular on their wedding day. The green hills and tall grasses shone in the light of the setting sun. The (twice) newlyweds practiced their first dance, swayed in the breeze and soaked in the last moments of daylight. After more heartwarming speeches from family, the two danced the night away surrounded by friends and family. They chose sparklers as the perfect exit from their wedding and into married life.
I associate shot this wedding for Rachel Lynn Photography. I loved being on her team and getting to celebrate such beautiful couples!
